Large Scan Index

This site contains scans of the storyboard of the Dungeons & Dragons episode, The Girl Who Dreamed Tomorrow, written by Karl Geurs.

The storyboard is 145 pages long. With it being that large, I can't post all the pages at full size and at a high resolution. So, I'm using a condensed layout with a thumbnail of the page, and the text. Click on the thumbnail for the scan of the page at about 60% of its orginal size. I'm hoping to get about 15 pages a week added to the site and get all of the pages online by the end of February.

What is a storyboard?

- A storyboard was done after the script was approved. A talented artist goes through the script and turns the words into drawings to guide the animators. Rough sketches are made to show what the animation will look like, sort of like a comic book, but with arrows showing movement, and description and dialogue written beneath.

Format

Here's the conventions being used on this site to transcribe the text from the storyboard:

Numbers/Cont in BOLD- These are the circled scene numbers shown above the panels. Cont (continue) means that the action continues on that same background, and is shown in the next panel.

Red Text - shows a scene, action or dialogue not in the aired episode.

Underlined Name- specifies dialogue.

Blue Text - dialogue that was modified in the aired episode.
